The Gasthaus Switzerland Inn is a charming, affordable 22 room small hotel with traditional Swiss hospitality in the heart of Canada's capital city, Ottawa.
Gasthaus Switzerland Inn was the winner of 'Best in Canada' by Inn goers for Arrington's Bed & Breakfast Journal's Book of Lists 2003 and 2004.
Our establishment is suitable for business or leisure purposes, as well as romantic getaways. We take pride in providing distinctive, traditional European hospitality, a relaxing atmosphere, as well as a wonderful, traditional Swiss, full buffet breakfast.
All rooms have private bathrooms, work desk, telephones with data ports and cable television. Some rooms are available with gas fireplace. Non-smoking and fully air conditioned.

Breakfast at the Inn...
Our delicious breakfast starts with fresh ground coffee from our Swiss Espresso machine, tea, orange juice, Bircher-muesli (a Swiss cereal, you must try), homemade bread and jam, a variety of cheeses, eggs, croissants, french-toast and muffins round up this complimentary breakfast.
Summer breakfast...
In the summer you can enjoy your breakfast at the big table in our garden under an umbrella or you may just relax in the garden with its many flowers. The garden and courtyard with an outdoor patio are located behind the Inn.
During the peak of summer the garden is flourishing. In the vegetable garden, vegetables and herbs grow throughout the season providing fresh tomatoes and cucumbers constantly. Splashes of bright colours, especially red, are seen everywhere from the assortments of annuals and geraniums planted throughout.

- Cancellation policy is 30 days notice for Honeymoon/Getaway Suites and 7 days notice for all other rooms. For Honeymoon suites credit card will charged 30 days prior to check-in date.
- Cancellation fee of $20.00 applies to all cancellations and a 1 night charge applies to cancellations without proper notice.
- Reservations require a credit card number and a cancellation policy is applicable to all reservations.
- Early checkouts penalty during high season (April 15 - November 15).
- Check-in time is 3pm and check-out is 11am, 12pm for the Honeymoon Suite. |
