Glenn-Burney is a unique Resort nestled in a magnificent setting of 100-year-old tall pines overlooking the 30,000 Islands of beautiful Georgian Bay. Family-owned and operated for 59 years, the Lodge caters to fishermen, families, and those just seeking a relaxing and moderately priced Vacation Adventure.
There are extensive Nature Trails throughout the 68-acre property for hiking enthusiasts, large-scale outdoor post & beam Playground for the younger members of your family to enjoy, a gradual Sand Beach at the waterfront, with a variety of Rental Boats and Fishing Charters available to explore, picnic, or fish the surrounding islands.
Cooking and non-cooking facilities are available with a choice of modern Over-night Sleeping Units or One to Two-bedroom Cottages, complete with microwave, stove, refrigerator and outdoor barbeque. All accommodations include Fans, Cable TV, fresh Linen and Towels, and a Private Sun Deck overlooking the water.
Enjoy the comforts of home with one of our fully equipped cottages, complete with your own barbeque on a private sundeck overlooking the water. All of our cottages include linen and towels, as well as Cable TV and floor fan. Everything you need is supplied for cooking, such as dishes, cutlery, cookware, coffee maker, toaster, hand-towels, stove and refrigerator. The washrooms include a four-piece bath, as well as towels that can be exchanged as often as you wish.
Our main building features a Recreation Lounge (shuffleboard, family games and movies, etc), Fireplace for your personal enjoyment, and Gift Shop for Souvenirs.
Families enjoy a large variety of activities at our waterfront, with boat rentals, fishing charters, personal watercraft rentals, island beach excursions, swimming and sunbathing.
Our location is just ten minutes from the 30,000 Island Cruise at the harbourfront in downtown Parry Sound, where you will also find the Charles W. Stockey Centre for The Performing Arts, including Festival of the Sound and The Bobby Orr Hall of Fame. Parry Sound is a leisurely 2 to 2.5 hours drive North of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
