Come, relax and enjoy your stay in a new or newly renovated cottage or one of our 4 rooms in the charming 19th Century house overlooking scenic Hubbards Cove.
Hubbards, located on the scenic Lighthouse Route, is only 30 minutes from Halifax, Lunenburg, and Peggy's Cove, and with the Annapolis Valley less than an hour away, we are ideally situated to provide a base for exploring Nova Scotia's most beautiful coastline including the undiscovered Aspotogan Peninsula.
The ?Anchorage? circa 1850, has been the home of charm and hospitality for over 90 years, standing proudly on Hubbards Cove it was built by owners of a local lumber company over 150 years ago. The house has maintained its quiet dignity and charm throughout the years, while undergoing major renovations and additions. An abundance of flowers, trees, shrubbery and grass form a beautiful setting for the big century home with its gables and wide wraparound veranda.
Accommodations:
Cottages: Thirteen cottages, all with fully equipped kitchens for those extended stays and one sleeping cabin, all new or newly renovated in 2001/2002. Each cottage has a private deck with BBQ, cable TV, some units have fireplace (new electric) and/or whirlpool tub.
Main House: The 'Anchorage House' has four suites all with private bathrooms, cable TV and phones, including a king suite with 6' whirlpool tub and a queen suite with kitchenette and fireplace.
Hubbards is the summer home of many festive occasions the, ?Anchorage? will give you convenient access as these events unfold. Barbecue, play volleyball, paddle around beautiful Hubbards Cove, stroll to the beach or just relax and enjoy the beautiful view. For those interested in sailing, deep-sea fishing or sea coast tours, we can make all the arrangements for you.
Centrally located on Nova Scotia?s South Shore, the ?Anchorage? is within easy reach of sandy beaches, well known fishing villages, antique and craft shops, lobster pounds, restaurants and golfing. Hubbards, has a central shopping area with a convenience store, liquor outlet, bank, hardware store, and supermarket, and also has a community library, medical center and post office, 'ALL' your needs in one location.

Weekend bookings minimum 2 nights.
Rates based on 4 people for two bedroom and larger cottages, all other accommodations based on 2 people.
All units have private bathroom, all with cable TV and the rooms in the main house each have phones, all cottages except Cabin 3 have kitchen facilities, private decks with BBQ.
Extra person $15/night - $90/week. Rooms Include Breakfast, Cottages $6 per person extra on Request.
Pets Welcome - $25 Additional One Time Charge.
