Only 15 minutes drive from the town of Golden and the incredible Kicking Horse skiing resort you will find the stunning location of the Blaeberry Valley. Set in the heart of the Blaeberry nestled between the Rockies, Purcell & Selkirk Mountains sits Bear Paw Lodge.
Bear Paw Lodge is a fully equipped self catering vacation property, furnished to a very high standard, which can comfortably sleep 10-12 people.
As of fall, 2007, this vacation property near Golden BC has been extensively renovated with hard wood floors, newly refurbished kitchen with stainless steel appliances and new décor. The living room is comfortably furnished boasting great views, and bedrooms are furnished with all new beds, linens and duvets with a Satellite T.V and DVD in each room. With almost 360º views of the surrounding mountains, Bear Paw Lodge offers incredible tranquillity and the unique feeling of living close to nature in the heart mountains, with the added bonus of being no more than 20 minutes away from some of the best Winter and Summer activity facilities that Canada has to offer. Therefore Bear Paw Lodge offers an ideal base for a wide range of activities including Skiing at Kicking Horse Ski Resort, vast Snowmobling terrain including local guided tours, Back Country skiing, Helli-Skiing and Snow-Shoeing.
A house keeper who lives at the property within a self contained basement unit, will greet you on arrival, and will be happy to help with any queries during your stay. Fresh bathroom towels will be provided twice per week and bed linen changed once per week. Full washing and drying facilities are provided for our guests to use.
Golden is approximately a 3.5 hour drive from Calgary, heading west on the trans-Canada Hwy 1.
